[BlueStacks] How to transfer files between BlueStacks and your PC (2 methods are provided)

This video shows you how to transfer files between BlueStacks and your PC. (2 methods are provided)


Software used:

ES File Explorer (free): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop


1. Open the file explorer in BlueStacks. The app i used is "ES File Exploror". You can find the download link in the description.

2. Select the file(s) you want to copy to your PC and click the "Copy" button

3. Go to the location "/mnt/sdcard/bstfolder/BstSharedFol­der" and click the "Paste" button

4. Go to C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks\UserData\Share­dFolder in your PC. You will find the file(s) you just copied from BlueStacks.

5. Just paste your PC file(s) to the same location and you can get those files in the BstSharedFolder of BlueStacks.


If you feel uncomfortable to copy and paste the file(s) to the shared location. There is another method to quickly access your PC files if you are in LAN.

1. Open ES File Explorer. Choose Network -> LAN in the left panel of the explorer.

2. Click the "New" button to add a new server location.

3. Enter your PC local IP address, your windows login id and password. Click OK to save setting.


4. Click the server you just created. And you can access all the files in your PC. Enjoy! ^.^
